In any case, you can also create an image manually, and mount it using BFS as you would do without Ingo's package; the only difference is that you have to provide a path to the makehdimage script then, like: $ makehdimage /Haiku/ The only downside to this approach is that you need to reboot after every update then, or else the BeOS cache bug will strike again (that mode of the script can also be used to transfer a working Haiku to an existing real partition).
