Hi there, thanks to the recent bugging from lymon, I've finally looked into the boot problems that caused sudden reboots on many systems. Turns out it was my favourite A20 gate, that was not enabled correctly everywhere. I've switched to the 0x92 port mechanism, and that seems to work much better. So if booting Haiku failed for you, you might want to give it another try now. To install it on a separate BFS formatted partition, just call the makehdimage script like this: $ ./makehdimage /Haiku in case /Haiku is your target volume. If you encounter any problems, please report back.
