Its from Be, Inc's sample code with some changes by tic (Mikael Jansson?) and it supports generic USB audio devices - I have a (poorly) supported "USB Game Adapter" that came with a Logitech headset that it works with under R5. I've no idea if it works on Haiku as I've never tried.
