kernel build

Hello,

I'm still trying to build the boot floppy (on a debian system). I've got

objects/kernel/

libroot.so
kernel
kernel.so
rld.so
boot_loader
stage2

and some stuff in drivers/ glue/ etc.

However I still can't build init because of this linker error:

KernelLd objects/x86.R1/kernel/init
objects/x86.R1/kernel/libroot.so: undefined reference to
`__errno_location'

        ld --script=src/kernel/ldscripts/x86/app.ld -o
"objects/x86.R1/kernel/init" "objects/x86.R1/kernel/libglue2.o"
"objects/x86.R1/kernel/apps/init.o" "objects/x86.R1/kernel/libroot.so"
-L /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/3.3.5 -lgcc ;

(... more complaints about the same symbol ...)

...skipped config.x86.ini for lack of init...
...skipped kernel.x86 for lack of config.x86.ini...
...skipped floppy.x86 for lack of kernel.x86...

What could be causing this?
I'm not sure I/Jam got the build order correct, so if this puzzles you
maybe you could give me the correct build order to bootstrap the
libraries/kernel, so I can try again. I'll try desperately not to let
the linker find my system libraries ;-)
If I'm right the only 'system' lib that is/may be used in the build is
libgcc.a, right?

Thanks,
