I don't think OpenBSD is communist or far-left=2E You obviously can't write=
 correct complete code while high on drugs, but at the same time, there are=
 too many European and Canadian drug dealers in the community=2E

OpenBSD itself is openly published and free to use but the intent with the=
 use of strong cryptography is all about privacy and private property=2E Th=
e concern of communism and universal state surveillance is the use of the N=
SA-approved weak ciphers which have become standardized in the industry, al=
though that appears to be somewhat outside the scope of the OpenBSD project=
 itself=2E

NSA at its two known locations of Ft=2E Meade, Maryland and Camp Williams,=
 Utah is focused very much on unwarranted domestic intelligence surveillanc=
e for local law enforcement purposes within the United States, and in UK, C=
anada, Australia and New Zealand as well, coincidentally all English speaki=
ng nations, through the FVEY or "Five Eyes" intelligence surveillance and l=
aw enforcement community treaty=2E James Bamford's descriptions apply=2E

The emphasis on building up "local" law enforcement and excluding other na=
tional level agencies such as FBI/DEA/RCMP etc=2E is because the petty red-=
light district criminal cases typically brought against targeted individual=
s with warrantless NSA surveillance intelligence don't make it in federal c=
ourt without proper warrants based upon probable cause with the sworn testi=
mony of witnesses=2E

Then there are the child pornography and/or other white collar criminal "i=
ndictments" etc=2E, where the grand jury (if it was ever actually convened)=
 was never allowed to see the purported evidence or judge its appropriatene=
ss =E2=80=94 but somehow rank-and-file NSA employees are=2E

Imperial Russian style crypto export controls and tariffs etc=2E
