I recently deployed my first customer workload running on OpenBSD, and =

I couldn't be happier. =20

I'm coming from a Linux background, but have spent many years "reading"=

about BSD (mainly OpenBSD (since 6.5), as it aligns with my penchant fo=
r =20

security and privacy). I began self-hosting a home lab running OpenBSD =
=20

7.5, and just deployed 7.8 for a customer. =20

 =20

Once I had configured hostname.if(5), pf(4), login.conf(5), and =20

adduser.conf(5) successfully, a rush of dopamine hit me and I knew I =20

couldn't go back to deploying Linux anytime soon. =20

 =20

Documentation (via manpages) was the greatest tool in getting over any =
=20

bumps along the way. Everything is so compactly and exhaustively =20

detailed that I rarely had to web search for solving issues. =20

 =20
