you've got 4 options.

1. Rewrite the Data.

2. Go to your Clean-Room, dismantle the disk, check platters for bumps
   with you eletron-microscope, sand them down with no. 100k paper, put
   fresh firnish onto them, replace the heads if needed, put the thing
   back together.

3. Talk to it nicely. ( A recent survey displayed among other things
   that about 5% of the common computer users try to fix problems by
   talking to their machines eg. telling them to please behave and
   work again or curse them or whatever. )

4. Get a fresh disk since this one is going doowwwnnnn.....


I recommend _immediate_ backup and option no. 4
