This looks like a reasonable candidate for your troubles.
Unfortunately, you have not included the full dmesg of your system
which should show whether it supports bwx or not. A good reason to
always send your full dmesg when asking for support.

Anyway, as you haven't included it in your e-mail, I'll venture a
guess that your system lacks bwx support, so libio wont run on it.
