Perhaps. I'm open to suggestions on how exactly to debug or try to fix
this, since freshly installed OpenBSD 7.9-RELEASE hangs on a newly
built system with AMD Radeon 6500 XT.

TBH, the bug indeed isn't 7.9-specific (sorry), since at least
7.8-RELEASE also crashed, though not with the same diagnostic output,
so I was told to wait for 7.9, which supposedly has "significant
changes to amdgpu since 7.8", but it seems those changes didn't make it
able to boot.
