Therefore my question: Is there someone working on EISA?
Maybe I can do the EISA support for hppa.

I have the hardware (DEFEA and DEFPA) and I am willing to test it. :-)

The fpa(4) driver in NetBSD-current is bus_space aware and got some
bugfixes some months ago. I tested it on Alpha (64 bit le) and PPC
(32 bit be) where it works and sparc64 (64 bit be) where it still
does not work. I should check how much work it is to take it over
to OpenBSD.

Only boot (bootblock issue) or use local disk at all (kernel issue)?
