While updating to the latest September 29 snapshot on my 712/100, I run into 2 problems: 1. bsd.rd failed to load: >> OpenBSD/hppa BOOT 0.8 boot> boot bsd.rd booting dk0a:bsd.rd: 1839660+2654208+376832 [52+91056+74840/ and then cursor froze after "/" and nothing happens. 2. I though maybe my boot loader was too old so updated my lif boot blocks with the new supplied xxboot. But that boot loader autoboot bsd immediatly. Annoying. So I reverted back to 3.3 xxboot (the one inside base33.tg). Beside that I didn't get any scsi reset error so I was happily surprised. I'm also kind of wondering if there's something in hardware that stop the built-in display from having at least the bold attribute (and maybe reverse video (black on white)). <selfplug> Also, I got arround to take pictures of my 712/100: http://EINTR.net/systems/hp/hp712-100/index.html </selfplug> Thanks all for a working BSD on hppa. -- Hugo Villeneuve <[email protected]> http://EINTR.net/
