Model 712/100 audio

Thanks Michael and everyone for your work on this port, I hope all is 
going well.

I have just used HP-UX yesterday for the first and hopefully the last 
time.  I've just obtained this Model 712/100 yesterday and gone through 
the OpenBSD documentation today.  I sucessfully installed it using 
bootp/tftp and ftp with OpenBSD 3.5, and added a few packages over NFS 
when I was done.

I've played with the audio and from what I can tell and read the audio 
subsystem works fine but I'm missing something.

these things:
mpg321 <file>
mpg321 -a /dev/audio <file>
give me this:
"No default libao driver available"

This:
 mpg321 -o oss <file>
gives me:
High Performance.....
Version 0.5...
THIS SOFTWARE....
Title....:
Album:...
Comment:...

Playing MP..
MPEG 1.0....
an't find a suitable libao driver (is device in use?)


I get similar results with ogg123, but it doesn't seem to think I have 
any devices at all.  It says:
Could not load default driver and no driver specified in config file. 
Exiting.
|| if I specify a device with -d oss -d sun -o /dev/audio  -d esd I get
No such device [ sun | oss | esd ]

I can start esd, and hear the startup beeps however.

I've tried these things before and after installing the libraries, 
libao, libesd, libarts from the packages


When I cat a file to /dev/audio, I can hear noise.

I have tried mpg321 -s <mp3 file> > /dev/audio (I th   to try to throw 
headerless audio at the device.

I tried that same thing after using audioctl to set play.* variables to 
match the audio output to hear some lovely static.

Anyways, I'm stuck, and could use some help. Hope you have a couple of 
seconds.  Even just to post a helpful link that might get me on track.
