I retract that hypothesis.  I just woke up my laptop after some 12
hours, the route was gone, but the NDP cache entry for the gateway
was still there with 10h 23min to go.

I'm totally groping in the dark here.  In fact, I expected some
responses confirming or denying that this route loss happens.
Anybody else see it?  I haven't checked different setups yet.

It would be nice if certain superstitions could be laid to rest and
we could have IPv6 on the wire (or in the air) this time...
