mySQL/pthreads for m68K

Previously (OpenBSD 3.2) i ran into a pthreads problem in compiling 
mySQL for a 68K Mac.  Does anyone know if this has been resolved and if 
it's possible to run a mySQL server on a 68K Mac?  I know that there's 
a postgresql-7.3.2 package available as an alternative to mySQL, but 
was hoping for mySQL.  TIA.
