Ok, I guess it's not obviously labeled as 68882.  I only found one Motorola 
chip the 68030 - so I guess I didn't look hard enough.  I'll try and see if 
I can resurrect this machine.  (The power supply has some rust on the 
cover.)  I'm not so sure it still works.

So what exactly is the limitation?  Does the SCSI ID of the disk have to be 
zero? As far as the 53c80 or whatever SCSI controller is concerned it 
shouldn't even be able to tell the difference between external and internal 
devices as they're on the same bus...  I suppose I could set the Jaz drive 
to ID 0 and disable the internal hard disk (so that I could avoid a 13 hour 
install again.) :)

I'm sure it does.  :)  The install to an 800mb partition on the Jaz cart 
took 13 hours...
