You might not want to throw arround accusations if you have no absolut certainty. There are some machines reported to not work any more, check the archives of this list, but it *does* work. OpenBSD/mac68k is not the easiest plattform to install on. For one thing it requires knowledge of both OpenBSD and Mac OS (especially in the older variants). That's also the reason why the mailing list is sometimes a bit quiet: mac68k may not be an easy place for newbies, and the old timers rarely have to ask questions. But speaking as someone who started his OpenBSD adventure as a newbie on mac68k, I would say that it is one of the most rewarding plattforms. There's nothing like having fought your way through a complicated install, sometimes taking weeks to solve problems, and then having such an old beast running so well. Documentation is sometimes a bit lacking for mac68k. But it is after all a plattform that works. I have been running a busy server on a Quadra 700 for more then 2 years now, up untill last month. Now that Quadra has been given to OpenBSD developers, and I think mac68k will continue to be improved. Regards, Sascha
