Sorry about obsessing over the FPU. It just breaks my logic.

My Quadra 650 works perfectly. (well the sound driver can emit 3
bell then goes silent)
I moved the drive from my Quadra into my LC II 10MB no FPU and I
could go into single user mode. (using the monitor and my adb
keyboard).
Most complex command at the shell prompt gives illegal instruction
so I did not acheive much.
