Hello, I just wanted to report that the PowerBook 170 seems to work and I included it in the supported list as "full" even if there was little testing. Unfortunately the hard disk is small (100mb for root-usr) and OpenBSD base instalation is already too big. When I discussed this with a guy on #openbsd I just got kick-banned by another :) Having apache, perl and other stuff included already in base.tz makes install on older system unfeasible, unfortunately. But I installed enough stuff to be able to boot, mount the root read-write, use VI, tp and check that the dmsg output was meaninful. Somehow cute ! I think I will try NetBSD which has a leaner base system. note that the PB 170 is a 68030 system and has built in FPU (other pb's like the 140 had not) Cheers, Riccardo
