"Secure by default"...

unplug the network from any OpenBSD box, does said box get more or less secure?

Can a no-RAID OpenBSD be considered "fully functional"?
Can a read-only root file system (Flash, CD-ROM, whatever) be?
One without a display be?
Display, but no windowing system be?
No keyboard or mouse?

If I have a network, but disable all the services, is that any different than having no network?

Is it even possible to do anything useful on a computer if it has no network?

YMMV,
