Well...amazing how things change. As Martin indicated, Miod has isolated the problem and come up with a workaround. Snap building process is starting... That being said, back to original topic of this thread: fixing the install process. The "proper" solution to this has not been mentioned: mac68k needs a "real" install process, based on bsd.rd, not on a MacOS app. Last I heard, there are some serious issues here, however fixing them would be VERY productive for OpenBSD/mac68k for more than just installation -- as I recall, the problem is related to the "more than one disk" issue. Not a trivial thing to fix, but much more productive than fixing a "one-of-a-kind" installer. And the tools are free! :) I'd really recommend NOT persuing the MacOS installer update.
