I got my LCII+FPU out of the cover to test the new snapshots but I didn't get far with it. For Jan 13 dated bsd.rd, it stops before the "root on" statement. But I was half expecting that. Since 12MB of memory was advertized as minimum to load the kernel and memory file system. Anyway, for bsd.rd, the kernel spew: real memory 10240K avail memory 3560K For Jan 13 dated bsd, it stops after the "root on sd0a ..." statement (before the PRAM: and switch to init). That machine works with 3.6. I knew bsd.rd wouldn't work on it but I was expecting to still be able to support this system using the olds mac utils (Mkfs, OpenBSD/mac68k installer). Note that the update of my Quadra 650 to that Jan 13/16 snapshots worked great. -- Hugo Villeneuve <[email protected]> http://EINTR.net/
