It's not very expensive either which is a good thing. This sounds very familiar to a unit I had for an old Mac PPC 6100/66. It was a small device with a few speed settings on a dial. The whole thing piggybacked on top of the oscillator on the motherboard. It worked very well, I had that box running at 83 MHz until the day I turned it off. I know I paid a lot more than $9.99 at the time! Ask me about my 3.6 MHz 65C02 Apple II+ accelerator some day... :) Gord
