Those particular ones have the super power of being reasonably fast
not-too-ancient machines that still give more than 2.5GB or so of
low memory when running in 32-bit mode. (3GB works, might be possible
to squeeze a bit more but there is something broken with the memory
map such that it needs forcing with "machine memory" at boot...)
