Actually, Vodafone are advertising a huge upgrade. Recently I have seen a crane
replace a server cabinet next to a local mast and after a week of terrible
speeds they went through the roof to 30 megabytes per second, though it varies a
lot. Work is now always 5G too though again speed varies. I expect the price
will go up in the future though.

I'm not so sure but it's also not a problem to use http in installurl. I'm using
Three at home and work now (long story after BT/Zen couldn't transfer our line).
I don't see any other evidence of any issues. I have never had https fail in a
browser to date and it seems to happen predictably at the end of base.tgz or
even bsd but sometimes small files complete. It also happens closer to the
middle of small files. I've tried low MTUs and MaxMSS but perhaps it is still
MTU related or I didn't set them correctly in enough places. It could be Three
are tampering in a way that affects LibreSSL and not OpenSSL but I have as much
evidence as those links provide really; nada.
