hi. this is for the people working on smp, but since it's a dmesg i haven't
sent before, i'm sending it to dmesg@ as well.

the following is from my dual 200mhz box, booing generic.mp. it has an old
asus p55t2p4d board.

the smp support itself works just fine (yay), seems both processors are being
used. i can run a make -j8 and it holds up alright, and both processors warm
up, so i figure they're working.

however, the network card fails (that watchdog timeout reappears if i try to
ifconfig the device again.). it functions normally when booted from generic
using a single processor, so it seems it's an smp problem of some kind.

the exact same thing happened when i tried netbsd netbsd with smp a while
back. (exact same watchdog timeout and the rl driver just fails.)

i have also tried an pci ne2000 adaptor. it produces a similar error.

let me know what the deal is, if there is any more information i can provide,
or anything else i can do. i would like to see thse problems resolved, but i
understand it's a pretty weird old motherboard...
