A notice for SMP hardware has been there since I've been interested
in/using OpenBSD, which is about two and a half years.

However, Theo (in a message that I'm too lazy to look up) hinted at at
least one developer needing SMP hardware for just such a project.

I'd still like to hear from the spinlocks.org project as to how far they've
been able to get, and how long until they make their code available to the
rest of us.
