i just wan`t to say to thoes of you, who are questioning the need for SMP, and say that there are more important things to do. look at NetBSD project, how many pointless archs they have ported they system to, but they do it any way. just in case someone will need to use it. now, i can bet that there are far more ppl that will use SMP in OBSD now, than NetBSD on lets say, atari.... just a thougt Pawel
