In so many ways you still don't get it.  Read my message to the list
before I responded to you.  That's the view I have on this SMP issue.
There is little to no point in doing SMP by taking away people from
things that are more pressing.  If you want to do SMP (IMHO), find the
parts of the kernel that need rewriting, and start there.  There are
lots of places.  Tons of them.  Start small.  Make the code correct,
and more readable.  Faster and more efficient if possible.  More stable
and secure.  Simpler and smaller.  Will I support such action?  Yes.
Will I appreciate the stress of someone hounding me for basic info?  No.


Anyways, this ought to be the last of my response on this subject.  It's
bloody 4am, and I'm going to bed.  I figure my insomnia ought to be just
about ready to give up by now...
