Things can break...and get fixed and break again and get fixed again very quickly. Obviously, that's "broke". :) However, it's pretty blatant, so I suspect it is probably fixed by now, but snapshot builds are a bit irregular during hackathons. Suggestions: 1) Wait a few days for a new snap. 2) If you have another Sun machine, build yourself a release on that machine and try that release on your T1000. (If this does not work, then definitely file a bug report!) Installing from a 4.4-rel bsd.rd under these circumstances is entirely acceptable under these conditions (though you may find the snapshot kernel has the same problem...or may not). Nick.
