So much for causal experiments with Sparc, I'll actually have to plan this one. What is different about the architecture that prevents being able to send bsd.rd over tftp (or other) as the only step? I gather through a bit of experimentation that there's not a way to avoid rarp, tftp, bootparams, and nfs when installing from the HD either. Regards -Lars
