So, thanks for reporting this. It is clear nobody tested sndio on a sparc until now... I'm particularly red in the face right now because I have more than a few specifically for testing OpenBSD, and more than one IPX amongst them.. I'll go make use of them now for some testing, my first tact will be to try: AUCAT_DEBUG=4 aucat -l -m play and send it to jakemsr@ and ratchov@ (above) who developed this api.
