Interestingly enough I have a pair of Adaptec AHA-2940-UW cards, and
upon trying them I did not rx the above error ("Fast Data Access MMU Miss").

They didn't work, or I'm not bright enough to make them work, either.
But I found that funny, as ISTR they were pretty much deprecated within
OpenBSD due to Adaptec's recalcitrance in providing information enough
to make them go.  (No, just funny, that's all.  I really did grin.  I
used to own a Ford so I understand this in a different way. :) )

I think Wide Ultra would be plenty quick enough, but of course I want
U2, U160, U320, U-abazillion, but Wide Ultra would do nicely.

Has anyone done a SCSI-SATA adapter in practice?

Has anyone done *any* SATA adapter into a Blade 100 in practice?

What might motivate those who are able to write the code for to make a
PCI SATA card work in a Blade 100?
