Man that brings back visions of the old sun laser mice.  The mouse pads were
essentially mirrors with a blue/black grid printed on them.  If the mouse pad
was turned 90 degrees, this is *EXACTLY* what would happen.  Haven't used one
of those mice in maybe 10-15 years.
