Interesting, what you've described isn't exactly what I'm getting, since 
I don't
even make it to OpenBSD booting. Issues with the firmware leads me to 
think maybe
there is something that has changed. Unfortunately I don't have access 
to different
firmware versions to test with. Unless there is a way to get those 
without a
presumably expensive Oracle support contract?
