Sqlports?

Hi,
     I'm wondering when or if the SQLports search tool will be ported to a VAX package or port?
It seems that this is the prefered way to handle port searches now.  
I'm not sure if this question should go on the ports mailing list or the VAX mailing list, or both?
I'd appreciate any information on this.
