I'm not totally sure what all your designations here are. I assume they decode as: Vaxstation 4000/vlc (KA48) Vaxstation 3100/76 (KA43) MicroVAX 3300 (or 3400) (KA640) > > Unfortunately, as of now, there is no way to boot OpenBSD/vax from > cdrom. This is on the works, though... Actually, the floppy32.fs may work on some systems. You just need to ensure it gets burned to the very start of the cdrom, since it's not an iso9660 file. Once booted you can do a network install. I don't have a cdrom suitable to confirm this works on any particular system, but users have tested and reported it working in the past. It's not going to work on your MV 3300 (a DSSI machine), though, unless you can find yourself an MSCP card and write the floppy image onto a drive on another system. (I've tested this precharging a DSSI drive with the image on one OS, and then booting to OpenBSD through MSCP, as well as the reverse procedure...) In general that floppy image is somewhat more flexible than its name suggests, so sometimes a not strictly supported solution exists. YMMV, good luck, /Hugh > > Miod
