Contrary to VMS, you can boot drives lager 1GB under OpenBSD (and NetBSD) in a VS3100M20-76, it has something to do with the way the ROM and VMS see the disk - I do not remember. Old standard PC drives work just fine. > I will have to set up the network to do the installation anyway Not necessarily. If you can get an SCSI CD drive, try to boot from CD. Some non-DEC CD drives work, some don't. For me, a Teac 532S works, an HP CD does not. Wolfgang Rupp
