Can we get a kernel source tarball put in with the snapshots?

It would be a very nice convenience to have with the VAX
snapshots, a kernel source tarball.  The main reason for 
suggesting such heresy is that VAXen are very memory
scarce, and a trim kernel is the first thing one wants to
get up and running after a snapshot install.  Some of us
on slow lines through aol and billyware (don't laugh, s%$t
like that happens) have less than optimal success making
any sort of cv[whatevervarietyyouhavetosupsyncetc] work.
The convenience of a MATCHING source tarball with the
snapshot would be most appreciated.  That would insure
that those of us that wanna play with the snapshots have
a reasonably coherent system, with everything in sync.
Most of us won't recompile the whole shebang, especially
on a 1 vup VAX.  But, many or most of us are quite likely
to want to recompile a custom kernel to optimize the very
limited ram resources most VAXentoyz have.

While on the matter of kernel sources, and possibly ports
sources, what about the possibility of having the install also
unroll the kernel source tarball, and the current ports tarball
all as part of a complete install.  That would make for the
best of all possible worlds, paraphrasing from ancient writings
past.  I can't imagine that more than a few lines of script would
not be able to do that, and not cramp the space available in
the install file systems.

In my considered opinion, the two above ideas would make a
fine OS, even better, and that is the name of the game, right?
