Hello all:

I am trying to install OpenBSD 4.9 on my low-end hp 2000 laptop (AMD e-300
Dual Core 1.3MHZ, 4GB memory, 500 GB HD). Everything goes fine until the
bInstall (I) Upgrade (U) Shell (S)b prompt, when I get a message
bpckbcintr: no dev for slot 1b that appears 8 to 10 times in a row. Also,
the repeat rate gets screwed up: when I try to hit b[Enter]b for the #
prompt, and bhaltb, the echo is bhhaaaaalttttb, sometimes interrupted
by that bpckbcintrb message.

I think I may be having problems with the keyboard language, which keeps
slipping into the Canadian-French version (as printed in blue on my
keyboard)bperhaps I am hitting a shortcut by mistake?, but that is a
separate issue.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
