dell inspiron 6400 laptop report

hello,
here is a quick report of how my dell inspiron 6400 laptop is doing with
openbsd. the model i'm using has a high definition 1680x1050 screen and
uses the built in intel graphics, not the optional ati part. cpu is a
t2300, a dual core part.

It's running openbsd current from around 16/6/2006.

basic list of things that work:
* built in ethernet
* azalia sound
* x with full native resolution (using the 915resolution port)
* sd card reader (using sdhc driver)
* usb
* hardware acceleration for x

things that kind of work:
* speedstep (only for highest and lowest speeds)
* X sometimes has tearing of letters in rxvt, no clue of the cause.
* volume down key lowers volume, volume up doesn't raise it

things that don't work:
* wireless with wpi driver, bringing it up freezes the machine
* second cpu core isn't detected with bsd.mp
* apm functions (battery life, halt -p, ...) some of these get detected
with the apci parts of the kernel enabled, but they still fail to work
(the termal zone driver thinks the cpu is 1300C, i guess it's seeing
fahrenheit degrees instead)
* scroll function of the touchpad, touchpad itself works though

not tested:
* express card slot, due to lack of hardware

dmesg & xorg.conf attached. i'm no xorg expert, the config could
probably use some cleanup.
