compressed ISDN connection

Dear List,
I'm living in a very remote european region. Our ISP doesn't offer DSL
or equivalent, thus I have to deal with ISDN which is getting more and
more annoying.
I wonder if it's possible and reasonable (in terms of speed) to make a
compressed (for example with a HIFNboard?) connection to a friends
DSL-router in order to use his DSL?
I'm not a computer expert so don't deal severely with me if it makes no
sense.

greetings
