ftp-proxy doco, faq vs. ftp-proxy(8)

I wanted to see if what is noted in
http://www.openbsd.org/faq/pf/ftp.html has any misalignment with what
ftp-proxy(8) says about the '-r' switch.

ftp.html:
"To enable active mode connections, you need the '-r' switch on
ftp-proxy(8) (for this you had to run the old proxy with "-u root")."

ftp-proxy(8)
 -r      Rewrite sourceport to 20 in active mode to suit ancient clients
         that insist on this RFC property.

Testing an active mode connection to ftp.openbsd.org from behind a PF
box with ftp-proxy seems to indicate that active mode is supported by
default (3.9-stable). Should the statement on ftp.html be removed?
