No, we just need better marketing, mostly. The OpenBSD installer is very nice and easy to use. There is one single part which I'm not satistfied with, that's the initial disk setup part. Unfortunately, there's quite a bit of work and testing to make this nicer. Your email also shows that you don't have any idea about the constraints we chose to work with and our design goals. Yep, the OpenBSD installer is not moron-friendly. So what ? If you know how to read, it doesn't get in the way, which is more than I could say for a lot of installers I played with. You want to write a moron-friendly installer ? go for it. hey, you're free to write some and ship your own OpenBSD installation system with it. That's what the BSD-licence is all about.
