First of all, I do not represent the project in any way and I'm not 
really associated with it. I'm just a long time end user -i.e. I'm no 
one special. I'm subscribed to www@ only because it's the right list to 
post diffs for the www branch. ;-)

The only person you should really talk to is Theo. Other people you 
might want to contact are Bob Beck and Jason George but Theo is really 
the person you need to get the OK from.

Make sure you use the right email address for Theo.

In his defense, Theo does travel, hike and go mountain biking, so you 
may have tried contacting him when he's off in some remote place (and 
returns to a mountain of email).

This is what you need to realize:

0.) You may have used the wrong email address for Theo or got stuck in 
his spam filters.

1.) Your timing is very bad. -too close to the May 1 release among other 
reasons.

2.) If you get no response, there is probably a good reason for the lack 
of response and you might want to try your request again in a few 
months, since situations tend to change. ;-)

3.) Please, do not bring up the issue on the main misc@ mailing list. It 
will only cause yet another pointless discussion.
