Hi, I know you folks were rather busy in the last weeks getting 4.1 out. I received my copy finally last weekend from Wim (delayed due to the unavailability of Jacek's new book). This time I didn't reinstall the system but updated according to the instructions given on http://www.openbsd.org/faq/upgrade41.html. Hint 1: openbsd.org is still on release 4.0! Even the link to the upgrade guide on http://www.openbsd.org/faq/index.html still points to http://www.openbsd.org/faq/upgrade40.html. It was only due to my guessing that I found http://www.openbsd.org/faq/upgrade41.html. No big thing to me but possibly to recent newcomers? Hint 2: From the OpenBSD home page: This site Copyright ) 1996-2007 OpenBSD. BUT: From the FAQ-page: OpenBSD FAQ Copyright ) 1998-2006 OpenBSD Copyright for the FAQ expired end of 2006? ;-) Question: The upgrade information provided on http://www.openbsd.org/faq/upgrade41.html is not included in the booklet that comes with the CDs. Actually I didn't realise any hint on what to do when upgrading. Was the beforementioned page upgrade41.html up before last weekend? If so may I suggest for the next releases to just give a hint in the booklet for those particular upgraders who order early! Finally: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR OUTSTANDING JOB! Kind regards, STEFAN
