at the bottom it asks:
"Licenses for recent Maple for Linux, or Mathematica, or similar software".

I assume you [should] have heard of GPL released Maxima, if not go here:

I found it complete enough for what can be a Calculus1 class.
I used it till derivatives and integrals level, dunno about more advanced
stuff.
But I think i remember it has Fourier Transform, also the FFT, some
polynomials, etc.
Plus plotting capabilities and pluggable third parties modules.
I think it could be integrated/installed on OpenBSD.
