Hello, If you feel you can use this info, put it up to http://www.openbsd.org/i386-laptop.html best regards, Robert Kovacs ============ Lenovo (IBM) ThinkPad R61i (8932-9ZG) * OpenBSD 4.2-release (Nov 2007) works nice * acpi only, no apm * CD (read), HDD, USB works fine * default xorg only works with VESA (see below), and can't switch consoles * bge0 "BCM5787M" works * PCMCIA tested with rl0 works * Mini PCMCIA not tested * SD/MMC not tested yet * Wireless wpi0 not yet tested * MP kernel boots up with ACPI enabled, otherwise hangs at boot after ^npx0 * Bluetooth not yet tested * Fingerprint reader/internal modem not supported Contact: Robert Kovacs After default xorg i810 rebuilt from xf86-video-intel from xenocara source: i965GM recognized as i810 and video works fine without xorg.conf (1280x800x24). With a custom kernel built with acpi* (acpiac, acpibat, etc.) devices you get nice sysctl hw.sensors variables. dmesg.mp: http://telnet.datanet.hu/~bsd/DMESG.MP
