Hi, here is some information about my LG laptop running openbsd: Model: LG E500-SP13G - OpenBSD 4.2 (amd64) works - halt -p doesn't powerdown - reading/writing CDs and DVDs works - re0 locks up the system completely unless media type set to 100baseTX (and even then, the system freezes if there is a lot of network noise) - binding ath0 to an address (statically or via dhclient) results in a kernel panic - no APM support - touchpad works - USB works - X.org works (for native resolution (1280x800) one has to add a new ModeLine to xorg.conf) - didn't get sound hardware to work (when using mixerctl to display a value, the system freezes) dmesg: http://www.potion-studios.com/lge500sp13g_obsd/dmesg xorg.conf: http://www.potion-studios.com/lge500sp13g_obsd/xorg.conf Thanks bye
