Historically, there is no way to tell when mirrors will stop syncing and 
just fall off the face of the earth or go stale, so one more mirror wont 
hurt, as long as it stays updated and online.

ftp/http is most used for installs, rsync is for other mirrors (public 
or not) to re-sync from your. I do host an AFS location, but can't 
really tell if anyone uses it that way or not for getting the tgz's 
and/or packages.

It varies very much depending on how many people will choose your mirror 
when installing, all I can say is that my mirror goes very hot around 
releases and is mostly seeing google-bot indexing at other times.
If you actually have bandwidth costs/issues, then perhaps it isnt a good 
idea to publish the mirror.

I have published the OpenBSD-related log lines from my ftp/http/rsync 
mirror (ftp.eu.openbsd.org) so you can run whatever analyzer on it if 
you like.
Since some other mirrors pull from me, I probably have more such traffic 
than an ordinary ftp/http mirror would have.
