I'd rather have a long list than a short list, but above all an accurate
list.  So, I've now sent notes like the one below to all the URLs mentioned.

I am going from the premise that they are on the list because someone in
or working with the project knows the stores personally.  If that is the
case, then an nudge from an aquaintance is more effective and nicer than
a note from some random yahoo.
